Yuletide Letter
Dear Writer,
Thanks so much for writing a fic or other piece of writing (I'm open to IF or other alternative fiction media) for me in this exchange! I'm really excited to see what you create! Feel free to disregard my prompts if you don't like any of them - I'm really not picky except with my DNWs.

Primordia - Horatio Nullbuilt:
My weaknesses are philosophical robots and religions based around humanity, so this game hits both of these feels. Horatio, created in man's image, built with their cruelty and compassion, is my favorite. Maybeyou can elaborate on one of the endings, or you can give a more detailed look at Horatio's relationships with others. Additionally, you can go pre-canon (keep in mind, Horatio Nullbuilt, version five - plenty of other versions to elaborate on).
(Just to give you a better idea of my tastes/why I love this game to the ends of the earth, my favorite line is by Metromind at the very end of the game when she is asked about what happened to the humans. "That is the definition of progress.")
Oxenfree - Any
Oxenfree specific DNW: Explicitly straight Alex or Maggie
I have a lot of time feels in this fandom. The minor (and major) time loops have a lot of potential for interesting alternate stories (and angst). Alex is a great protagonist and I love her relationships with everyone. I hated how Clarissa treated Alex, but I thought her character was really interesting. Being angry at Alex for Michael's death seems like a very irrational viewpoint, so it's probably a symptom of deeper feelings she's having. Jonas' backstory seems really interesting - how his life changes after Alex enters it would be cool to focus on. Michael is only a little fleshed out in the game, and how he is able to come back isn't really explained. Anything about his experiences with death and life would be interesting. Maggie Adler is a fascinating character - I enjoy how she has so much influence, but is never seen. Anything about her experiences with the Sunken and her life would be cool. You could also use time things to have her and the modern day cast interact. The Sunken are so cool. Anything from their point of view would be awesome, especially if their narrative is disjointed because of time things.
Some more general/integrative ideas: Alex juggling the Jonas/Michael thing in various loops and how they can't be her brother at the same time could be cool. More generally - how does Alex deal with her shifting relationships with the casts if she remembers all the timelines? What was the possession like from Clarissa's perspective, and what's her relationship with the Sunken? What if both Michael and Alex remember the time loops? (What if it's a familial thing?)
El Laberinto del Fauno - Any
Pan's Labyrinth is my favorite movie ever. I like the blending of fantasy and reality, and how the audience is never quite sure how real anything is. If you're able to keep this sort of surreal tone in the fic, more power to you. I think a sequel would be cool - I never really liked the happily ever after ending, so maybe Ofelia has a dream-quest or similar in the afterlife. Maybe she becomes a queen in her own right. I really liked how fairytale conventions had a great deal of power, so maybe the Faun or the Pale Man appear in other places, in other stories. (This is one fandom that I will accept crossovers with if you want to use folklore and mythology to flesh out these two characters.) Additionally, anything that builds on the Faun and Ofelia's relationship would be great - either post-death or in a canon divergent AU where Ofelia doesn't die. The Pale Man is an interesting character - I would like anything from his perspective.
Tricksters - Aly and Dove
DNWs: Dove/any male character
Aly is one my favorite Tortall protagonists (after Daine). I love her Sight, and any story that incorporates more of that would be great. Politics and spies and backstabbing are my thing, so if you want to include these things, feel free. I really like how Aly supports and respects Dove, and how Dove respects and trusts her in return. Tbh, I really ship Aly/Dove, but I'm also happy with them just being good friends. I love stories about them supporting each other post-canon. I also really liked the inclusion of the gods and immortals in the plot of this series, so anything that includes divine meddling would also be great. Perhaps something focusing on the Copper Isles' relationship with Tortall post-canon? Or the internal politics of the Copper Isles court?
Highwayman - Any
While the story in the poem seems pretty straightforward, I appreciate any takes on the story that give it a twist. The beginning of the poem is a fairly haunting image - perhaps there's an element of the supernatural to this story. Maybe the narrator is unreliable, and the moral quality or the motivations of the characters are different than how they're presented in the poem. Anything pre- or post-canon is also welcomed. Flesh out whatever you want, but here are some ideas if you want them: What if Bess didn't kill herself to warn the Highwayman, but for a more sinister reason? What if the Highwayman is retelling this to make himself look better or to make sense of what happened, but that's not really how it went down? How did Bess and the Highwayman meet? How does the Highwayman cope after Bess' death? (Does Bess haunt him?)
Study in Emerald - Sherlock and John
I really like this twisted 'verse, with the Old Ones. I'd love a story about Sherlock and John, Eldritch Horror Hunters. It sounds like they have a very deep partnership and work together very well. In any Sherlock Holmes-based fandom, I'm a slut for Competent!John. I really love any story that shows off his medical prowess or combat abilities or intelligence so that he's at least not completely left in Sherlock's dust. Perhaps you could write about why they've turned to a life of crime? Or a post-canon fic where they're evading Moriarty. I can deal with John/Sherlock, although I would rather have a well-fleshed-out partnership than a romance. If you want to write it however, or if you can tie the romance into the trusting partnership, go for it.
