Dear writer,

Thanks so much for writing something for me! I'll enjoy whatever you want to write, including alternative forms of writing, like interactive fiction, if the inspiration strikes you.

Fandoms:
Detroit: Become Human
Primordia
The Red Strings Club
Oxenfree

Or: Robots, robots, robots, and some ghosts.

  • unexpected twists
  • subversions/new explanations of canon material
  • clever explanations or interpretations of canon plotholes
  • canon-divergent AUs
  • ambiguity

  • slow burn
  • friends to lovers (or enemies to friends to lovers)
  • magical realism
  • time travel
  • surrealism (playing with the border between reality and unreality)
  • stories about stories (like, for example, how a story has power to influence things, how belief and retelling can shape reality, meta about characters as characters in a story - think Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, etc.)
  • creeping, atmospheric horror
  • characters being intelligent and competent
  • ROBOTS
  • robots and free will and choice
  • romance between eldritch horrors/gods/demons/immortal beings and normal humans
  • age difference

  • GHOSTS
  • relationships built on trust and mutual respect. Relationships where sex is secondary or absent, and the love and trust between the participants is the main point of stability.
  • on-the-very-edge-of-healthy codependent relationships (or even unhealthy codependent relationships, as long as all the participants are happy in the relationship - no Stockholm syndrome please)

Fandom specific:

Detroit: Become Human: Hank/Connor

DNW: Daddy kink

I love these two so much... I love their partnership and how it evolves into the deep bond we see in the Cyberlife basement (if you do it right and live happily ever after with Hank). I really enjoy stories that focus on the trust between them and how they would protect each other after the revolution. I'm weak to Connor and Hank being in trouble, and the other one having to pull them out of it. More philosophical or reflective stories about androids and sentience and free will are more than welcome. If you go porny for this, I'm also weak for wireplay and having Connor be a Ken doll down there, although those are definitely not requirements.

Also, I'm not putting it as a DNW, but I would prefer that
Connor not be inexplicably "human" - feeling pain like humans do, having a robot prostate, having the same sort of attraction as humans, etc.

Primordia - Any
DNW: Alive humans

This is my long shot fandom, considering that I'm pretty sure that there's still one fic in the fandom, and it's mine. BUT just in case -

I love all the robots in this game. I know that there are humans in the supplemental short story, but I don't care about no humans. ROBOTS! Also this world is very open and ripe for exploration/worldbuilding.

Horatio - I love his building, his drive, his veneration of man. I love his self-destruction, and I love his biblical journey. I think his past (he's version 5) and his future are ripe for exploration.

Factor, Memorious, and Metromind - they're all part of a broken council. I love Factor, sleeping away from Metromind's poor handling of the city. Does she feel alone? Lost? Betrayed? Memorious is a fragmented shell when we find her - her past as a watchful, detached recorder of history would be delightful to explore, as well as her relationship with Metromind and the others on the council. Metromind is one of the most complex characters in the game - her motivations and her explanations for her actions shift depending on your progress in the game and the ending you do. She also delivers my favorite line in the game: "That is the definition of progress." Exploring her definition of process would be fascinating.

Gimbal - My favorite singing boy. He's our only link back to Civitas, which would be so cool to explore. Fractals? Singing? The Harmony? So much room for worldbuilding...

Ever-Faithful Leobuilt - Humanity as divine is something I love SO MUCH in anything I see it in. This boy has a whole religion stuffed in his head and nothing else, but once he was a soldier... and now he guards a shrine of delayed explosion.... Also, he met Horatio before, and those interactions would be fun.

The Red Strings Club: Any

I played this game and I fell in love with it. I think I most enjoy the blend of science fiction and supernatural - the androids and implants and technology, along with a man who can't leave his bar and can influence emotions with spirits and a man who can get whatever you need - at a price.

Donovan, Donovan/Brandeis - Donovan's in a very interesting position - he influences events but he can't leave his bar. Brandeis is the free-wheeling technological revolutionary who returns to him. Exploring Donovan's past and how his supernatural life fits into this cyberpunk world would be great. Also, fleshing out his relationship with Brandeis - how do they fit together? How does Brandeis deal with the supernatural in his world? You can make this as tragic as you want - it is canonical after all.

Irving, Donovan/Irving - My DNW for infidelity still applies, so if you go Donovan/Irving, you can do it after Brandeis' death or in an AU where Donovan never dated Brandeis. Literally my favorite scene in this game was Irving "playing" Russian Roulette with Donovan. Irving's a foul-tempered, violent little bastard, but Donovan handles him so well. He's an interesting foil to Donovan's even-tempered approach to life. On his own, it would be interesting to see how he fits into this world - how does a torturer make a living in this day and age?

Akara-184 - Listen, I love AIs. Examining the world from her perspective and exactly how Donovan's changed it would be great. Anything you write about her - past, present, and future, would be fascinating.

Gost - Is he the devil? Is he a man? Who knows. He's supernatural and mysterious, and I love him so much. He presumably watches all this from the shadows, so something exploring his role/thoughts/actions about what goes down in the game would be cool. I would have nominated Gost/Donovan too, so, you know, go wild if that's your thing.

Oxenfree - Alex, The Sunken, Margaret Adler, Alex & the Sunken, Anna Shea & the Sunken, Clarissa & the Sunken, Alex & Jonas
DNW: Explicitly straight Alex or Maggie

TIME LOOPS. GHOSTS. I love all the fucky things you can do in this fandom with time and death and endless loops.... Go crazy. I'm here for everything, from pretty standard works to reeeeeeally weird surreal shit.

Alex, Alex & Jonas - Alex is the focal point of the game, and the only one who seems to be able to be relatively unaffected by the time loops and the Sunken - she does remember them, unlike the others. Anything with her dealing with the loops would be fantastic. I also love how her relationship with Jonas develops, and it would be interesting to see how that works out when Alex is experiencing endless loops and Jonas... isn't. A closer look at their sibling relationship (with the spectre of Michael, gone or returned, hanging over them)

The Sunken, Alex & the Sunken, Clarissa & the Sunken, Anna Shea & the Sunken - I am fascinated by the Sunken and their eternal half-life. They're a bunch of souls, but they've merged together into one inhuman being. I'd love to see them explored - how identity functions with them. Their relationships with the other characters are fascinating as well. Alex is trapped in a loop with them - they keep losing, but for some reason keep trying. No one else remembers, but Alex and the Sunken do.... Clarissa is possessed by them so frequently, plus there's the option of giving her up - you could explore what happens if Clarissa is taken by the Sunken - with or without Alex's approval. And Anna Shea is only met through Maggie Adler's letters. I headcanon her and Maggie as in a relationship, but you don't have to. She's really the start of all of this with the Sunken - and her perspective and past/present relationship with them would be cool to see.

Margaret Adler - As above, I headcanon her and Anna as lesbians, but you can do whatever. We get to know Maggie pretty well throughout the game, but never actually see her or talk to her. Her fight against the Sunken - during the events and after, to prevent it from happening again - would be cool to explore. Anything about her life would be fascinating, really.

Anyway, thanks again! I'm sure I'll love whatever you write, and I'm looking forward to it!!
